Why Leaders Don’t Attract Abundance – They Make it Happen
Remember back in 2006 when the movie “The Secret” was big? It was about having the proper thoughts to activate the law of attraction and achieve abundance in your life.
Just watching the film, you might conclude all you needed to do to make good things happen and achieve abundance is think good thoughts.
The law of attraction says that like attracts like. Thus, positive thinking attracts positive results and negative thinking negative ends. It’s all pulled in through the power of the energy of the universe.
Maybe it is. But there is one thing leaders know for certain. They can sit around thinking as positive as they want, and nothing will happen. There will be no abundance solely on their thoughts.
Abundance is not attracted without action. Those that take no positive action in their life will never realize any of the possible abundances.
The movie “The Secret” was about visualizing your goals clearly to make them happen. It wasn’t intended to make people think they get something from nothing, though the editing of the film often seemed to lead you down that path.
Leaders know their abundance, the quality of possessing plenty, comes from both clear visualization of goals and creating the pathway to achieve these goals. It also includes the actions taken to make these goals part of their abundance.
Leaders also know what the abundance is they seek and by default act positively. Remember, abundance is simply possessing plenty. Plenty of whatever you seek.
Abundance comes in the form of victories, accomplishments, and achievements. Important victories and achievements often get rewarded with significant monetary gains. But money itself can’t be the only goal. Something much more universal must exist.
Your vision and goals achieve abundance when they can affect others in a positive and sustaining way. Good leaders know this, and their daily actions reflect this in a very assertive and positive way.
This is how leaders make abundance happen, they don’t attract it.
