How to Not be the Average Business And How to Go to the Top

Have you ever wondered how you can end being just the average business, and become one of the top 2 percent folks?  You know what I mean; become the person who isn’t controlled by your business.  You actually find the life you desire, the freedom you deserve, and the security for your family in a way where you aren’t worrying day-to-day if your business will always produce enough income.

The funny thing is, when you fail big, lots of people know about it; and when you win big, once again lots of people find out.  Yet, when you remain Joe Average, no one knows, and no one really cares.  Am I right?

The principal reason a business remains hovering in the average range can be reflected upon from “Think and Grow Rich.”  Remember how the single biggest thing you can do to boost your business is mastermind with people who are where you want to be?  Well, the Joe Average tends to hang with people who are where they are.

Second, being average and staying average is easy.  Since 80% or more of the profiting business online and off is just average, it is much easier to stay average then to try to bust out ahead.  So first you must admit, you are following the pack, and it is time to become a contrarian…

: a person who takes a contrary position or attitude; specifically : an investor who buys shares of stock when most others are selling and sells when others are buying

Yes, this means going against what the other Joe Averages tell you. 

Of course, this requires work, and new ideas, and hooking up with the people in the top 2% to find out what they are doing to not be Joe Average.  So how do you do this?

One way is, go to conferences and events in your niche market and pay to join in with the top performers.  There is almost always a way to do this.  Then get in their mastermind.  You may not be able to do this instantly, but if you want to move ahead; keep at it, and move up into their “group” as soon as you can.

Another method is to find local business groups and seek out the top performers.  You will know who they because they are the ones who don’t just agree with what everyone else says.

You can also form your own mastermind.  Once you get just one prominent member, you will be amazed at whom you can get to take part.
